Marthas & Arthurs at Scolt Head

The Marthas & Arthurs had their album launch at De Beauvoir local, The Scolt Head last week. They are a lovely 5 piece folk rooted band with pop tinges singing harmonious songs of love, loss and Sally. They’re getting a lot of airplay on radio 1 and 6 Music right now, so listen out for them.

As well as the heartfelt music, the evening had a hand-made feel to it. Branded wooden spatulas were being hand carved and the LPs were covered in woven wooden handicraft jackets. Very cute!

Listen now on their BANDCAMP PAGE.

Gig: Marthas & Arthurs at Scolt Head

Acoustic guitars wrap cute lyrics from boy girl band The Marthas & Arthurs. They even have an accordian! I caught them at a festival a couple of years ago, and they are well worth a trip to local De Beauvoir pub, The Scolt Head next Thursday. They’ll be launching their album and playing a set, all for just a fiver to get in. http://www.thescolthead.co.uk/

Check out this video in the meantime and I’ll see you there!
